Change is the only constant in this life. The more we resist it, the more stressed we feel. In this episode I share three different examples of how this has played out in my life to show you why I lean into change rather than resist it and why you should too!

There is this narrative going around that in order to be a good mom you have to lose yourself and give up your whole life. I personally choose not to subscribe to that narrative. I personally believe that you can be a great mom and still have your own identity outside of motherhood. Here are my thoughts on the matter!

This is the part of self love that no one talks about. We love to talk about the beautiful parts of self love like pedicures, spa days, and long walks but often times we don’t dive into the nitty gritty. Some people say “trust your feelings”…other people say “do it despite how you feel” — so what it is? Do we use our feelings as a guide or is there something more helpful we should be following?

It’s easy to fall into the mindset of “why me?” why is this happening to me” I think that’s we’ve been sold this false idea that if we are doing life “correctly” we will be happy ALL the time. That’s just not true. Life is a series of up’s and down’s. And the more willing you are to ACCEPT that as truth, the more PEACE you will find.
