In the world of buzzwords, I think we’ve all heard the term “generational trauma”? But what about generational JOY? I mean, how much more interesting is that idea?? Leaving a legacy of joy! Is it possible? I don’t even know…but I definitely want to try.
I’ll never forget the day that I read and wrote down those two words by Laura Aziz. At that time, I was knee-deep in sifting through everything that was less than joyous in my life.
In that moment, Laura’s words gave me hope. And not just hope, but also a new target for me to aim for.
Laura and her words have often left me standing in awe as I try to figure out how she does it? How she always seems to be able to sum things up in a way that completely shifts my perspective.
Today, we are revisiting Laura's episode from the past: "You're Gonna Die". This one with Laura Aziz was one that stayed with me in many ways. Laura’s ideas and way of speaking truly hit me (every time) and I find myself thinking back to certain quotes of hers or things that she’s written quite often. I think I need to bring her back to chat again, but before I do, I wanted anyone who didn’t hear this to get the chance…and if you already did, it’s probably worth another listen.
