It is also Nashville’s most haunted hotel. One of the most famous ghosts is that of a woman named "The Lady in Blue," who is believed to be the ghost of a woman who jumped from the hotel's roof in the 1940s. She is said to appear on the 8th floor of the hotel, wearing a blue dress, and is often spotted walking through walls. Another ghost at the Hermitage Hotel is that of a man named James. James was a hotel employee who died in the early 1900s. His ghost is said to haunt the hotel's basement, where he is often seen walking around and moving objects. Dalen and Mark head the gravesite of David "Skull" Schulman to talk to him about his days running the infamous Rainbow Room in Printer's Alley Nashville, and whether or not he knew or had communications with the ghost of Ike Johnson? Then they go back to UNDERTAKER ALLEY!

David "Skull" Schulman opened his nightclub in 1948 in Printers Alley, the shadow of Nashville's publishing and printing businesses, a narrow two-block jaunt that stretches from Union Street to Church Street.Nightclubs populated the Bourbon Street-like strip, and entertainers on the circuit included Elvis Presley, Willy Nelson, Hank Williams Jimi Hendrix and The Supremes.Schulman was known as "The Mayor of Printers Alley" and later became a regular on Hee Haw, sometimes wearing his faded blue Hee Haw overalls behind his beloved bar. Skull also loved poodles. At Christmastime, he'd dye his poodles — dogs with names like "Sweetie" or "Sugar" — red and green. Elvis once sent him one of the dogs, and Skull was often seen walking his poodles on rhinestone leashes down Printers Alley.]But on Jan. 21, 1998, a cigarette vendor found the 80-year-old Schulman lying on the floor of Skull's, his throat slit and his head bloody after being hit with a liquor bottle. One of his poodles was wandering around the bar.Skull died the next day. The horrific 1998 murder shook the Nashville entertainment industry to its soul. Country singer Tanya Tucker rushed to Schulman's bedside before he died. Skull's friend Willie Nelson appeared on America's Most Wanted in an effort to catch the killer or killers. In 2001, American drifters James Cavaye and Jason Pence were charged with robbing and murdering Schulman.Pence was working a carnival at the Tennessee State Fair, and Schulman had once hired him for part-time help. Pence told police he knew Schulman carried large wads of money in the bib of his overalls.Cavaye got a life sentence, while Pence pleaded guilty to facilitating a murder, which carried a prison sentence between 15 and 25 years. Skull's Rainbow Room closed several months after Schulman's death.After Skull's death, the Rainbow Room stayed closed and untouched for 17 long years until it finally reopened. But some say that Skull never truly left. His ghost is said to roam about the establishment, haunting visitors with taps on their shoulders and cold spots. People have even reported seeing shadowy figures and poodles walking the alley. Dalen and Mark head to Smokey Row to speak to and get a glimpse of the ghost of notorious Nashville bar keep, Ike Johnson. Will Ike reveal the true story behind his mysterious death? And better yet will they be able to catch his ghost on a drone?

At the turn of the 19th century, bootlegger and gambler Ike Johnson established the Southern Turf in Nashville “Men’s Quarter. The Turf was a saloon, brothel, and gambling hall that became the most popular establishment in Nashville. He was well-liked by many, including famous distillers Jack Daniels and George Dickel. Despite his popularity, Ike ended his life with a self-inflicted gunshot on the second floor of his beloved Southern Turf. His death was unusual given that he had lived at the Southern Turf for 20 years, and the building had been praised for its lavish decorations, fixtures, and sanitation. However, after 20 years and a new law prohibiting alcohol, gambling, and extracurricular activities, the Southern Turf fell into disrepair and was eventually sold by the city to the Tennessean as a printing facility. Despite prohibition preventing Johnson from selling alcohol, he still planned to open a new bar along Bootleggers Row, two blocks north of the Southern Turf. On the day of his eviction, the police came to remove him from the premises, but it is unclear whether he committed suicide in front of them or was murdered. Some say that Ike still haunts the Southern Turf building to this day, with reports of sightings and even a tourist's photograph allegedly capturing him looking out of his apartment window.

Continuing with the Birdie Patterson story, Dalen and Mark head to Mt Olivet Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee hoping to speak to Birdie Patterson from beyond the grave, and answering the mysterious questions surrounding her death.

They take you back to the 1880s and introduce you to a wayward lady by the name of Birdie Patterson who is said to be haunting the St Cloud Corner in Downtown Nashville, TN.“Birdie” Patterson was a well-known figure in Nashville during the late 1800s despite only living there for 3 years. She was a prostitute and madam who ran several brothels in the city, and she was known for her flamboyant, colorful personality, and extravagant lifestyle. But on a steamy hot summer night a bullet to the chest would end her life. The circumstances around her death are a mystery today. Now Birdie roams the streets of Nashville, terrorizing mostly men and the very same same buildings she once worked in. A number of men enjoying today’s raucous Nashville lifestyle, the same way that they might have in Birdie’s time, claim to see a ghostly woman figure and hear disembodied voices saying what appears to be the word Murder, or Misery. Some have even gone as far to suggest the feeling of heavy hair and cold parts in the city where they are touched and even pushed by an invisible force.
