A lot of things can cause us to get imposter syndrome A few examples: School or work pressure Childhood experiences (constantly being criticized) Perfectionism Mental health status - bad week Mental health disorders (examples: OCD, Anxiety) Success - achieved it but feel you don't deserve it Personality traits Lack of diversity and representation Major life changes Societal expectations   I've personally struggled with imposter syndrome many times. Sometimes it's a phase of life that it something I had to work through for extended periods of time (Example - layoff ) Others it may pop up quickly and temporarily (Example - working on website)   How can imposter syndrome impact your career?
