We’re joined by Orthopedic Surgeon, Gordon Maclellan, chewing the fat on several issues, not least environmental factors implicating many health conditions, like hip dysplasia and undescended testicles. We discuss the benefits of Ultrasound over X-rays, and why Ultrasound in the Veterinary profession arguably could be optimised more in line with the use of Ultrasound in human medicine. We also discuss aspects of epi-genetics and how the environment from the water we drink and the food we eat can influence individual DNA expression and why products often used in the home like air fresheners contribute to an indoor environment often considered over three times more toxic than outdoors. We talk about testing before treating not only with Titre Tests and why ultra sounds are gradually more commonly being used for diagnosis.
