We’re joined by Art Critic, Estelle Lovatt FRSA, discussing how Dogs have been captured in art through centuries: from the caves, medieval, renaissance, Victorian and modern day, highlighting some of the greats from Renoir, Hogarth, Landseer, Stubbs to Warhol, Picasso and Hockney. It's not about their own dogs, but the legacy that art though time has distinguished our relationship with dogs, how we've evolved together through time. The same message remains, dogs are symbolised through loyalty and being man’s best friend. Estelle also chats about her first life drawing class featuring a dog as the subject.
