Matthew 10

This is the fifth episode of Matthew, and I go over the second sermon of Jesus. This sermon is directed to his disciples and is concerned with the house of Israel. Because of this, the sermon has interesting modern-day demands for the church of disciples to go out while also ensuring they are a worthy house. 

I am going to discuss the 10 miracles of Jesus, highlighting how they connect to the Sermon on the Mount and point toward the next sermon.

Talking about the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus introduces what his purpose and desire is for everyone interested in the fulfillment of Scripture.  Jesus is creative in this sermon, and he forces us to wrestle with our motives.

Isaac is the transitional character from Abraham to Jacob. He is significant because little is said about his individual life. His role is important because he receives and hands off the covenant.  

Summarizing the life of Abraham is a difficult task. In this episode, I attempt to give a snapshot of one of Genesis' main characters.
