Yankees Finally Show Warts as Hot Start Continues vs. Marlins
The Yankees are 7-2… but Sunday exposed some real concerns.
The bullpen is suddenly looking thin, David Bednar is being pushed early, and the lack of reliable arms is becoming obvious. Meanwhile, the offense missed chances to put the game away, highlighted by a brutal sequence from Jazz Chisholm Jr., who continues to struggle despite flashes of brilliance.
Still, there were major highs this weekend. Giancarlo Stanton and Cody Bellinger stealing Saturday’s game, Ben Rice staying red-hot, and the Yankees continuing to stack wins.
So what’s real and what’s just early-season noise?
