Gus and Isaac return in I AM HERE: Behind the Film 002 to give you the low down on how the scope of the project transformed from three five-minute shorts set in Iceland to a scripted, feature film straddling that frozen tundra and also bustling Mexico City. At the heart of this story is Gus’s relationship with alcohol. Gus opens up about how he started drinking to fill a sinking void upon retiring (the first time) from professional cycling. The conversation turns quite philosophical as Gus, Isaac, and Abby chew on the existential questions plaguing human existence. Along the way, they share the real story behind the script of I AM HERE.
