When you become a mom you naturally want to be the best mom to your kids, give them the best life and everything they ever dreamed of. Don't forget about yourself and your dreams, they are equally as valid as your kids. We tend to lose our identities in motherhood and forget to do the things we loved before or don't make time for it anymore. Don't stop taking time for yourself, go hang out with your friends, chase that business idea you once had, go on dates with your significant other and take the trip to your dream destination. Show your kids what it likes to be a good intentional present parent while still living your life and making yourself genuinely happy so your kids do the same thing for themselves when they grow up and become parents themselves.
