S15 Ep3: Tea with Miranda- Lived Once, Buried Twice- The Premature Burial of Margorie McCall

Accidents will happen. It seems no matter how hard we all try, things just sometimes have a way of getting mixed up. Shoes go on the wrong feet. The right key goes into the wrong lock. And a live person gets buried, even though they're not dead. It happened, Dear Guest, and more than once. Now, please have a seat and enjoy our special blend of Gravedigger's tea... and I'll tell you all about this kind of accident...twice.Single article source for short story read⬇️Quoted article: https://www.lurganancestry.com/mmccall.htm Special Thanks to Sounds Like an Earful Music Supply for the amazing music AND sound design.

Welcome, Dear Guest!   Please take your seat for a stone-cold treat! Tonight, we are Hellbent on sharing the eerie story of Murder Stones. These morbid, mournful monuments are strewn across the United Kingdom and are meant to mark the spot of many a murder! Join us for a triple telling of ghastly bump-offs, and how one murder stone inspired a second...in honor of the murderers! Welcome Back, Spooky Lovelies! We think there's no better atmosphere to begin our NEW SEASON than a swamp! Or better yet, to have a nice visit with Swamp Witches! Let us visit the long dead. Let us travel beneath the bustling streets where they dwell. We believe the 16th-century Capuchin Monks had the right idea! Don't bury your dead and forget them. Place them in tunnels and dress them up in their best duds, then invite everyone to visit them, forever! Tonight, we return to our stomping grounds: a beautifully dreary catacomb with 8,000 dead to gaze upon. One... is rumored to open and close her eyes. Curses! Well, cursed belongings is our topic in The Reading Room tonight! A pretty silver vase that killed the bride it was gifted to. An ancient female figurine that's rumored to have been deadly since forever...and some bedazzlingly dangerous jewels, The Dubious Delhi Purple Sapphire and The Hopeless Hope Diamond. Please find your favorite, totally not cursed spot!Special Thanks to Sounds Like an Earful Music Supply for the amazing music AND sound design.

We have for you this evening a deluge of divine underwater divas! Mermaids are some of folklore and fantasy's most magical creatures, and for centuries, artists have been obsessed with bringing them to life on canvas. Our three, briny, beautiful paintings are: Ulysses and the Sirens, by Herbert James Draper. Sadko in the Underwater Kingdom, by Ilya Repin. And Contemplation or Promise, by Victor Nizovtsev. Don't forget your snorkel!Special Thanks to Sounds Like an Earful Music Supply for the amazing music AND sound design.a

Thank you so much for volunteering to help Mr. Hemlock with the necessary gardening chores, Dear Guest! We were amazed at the lightning speed with which you raced to scribble your name on the sign-up sheet! Why, you seemed almost to be in a fever-dream as you drove your pen into the paper with madness, then you wandered away giggling and mumbling to yourself. In any case, we appreciate your overt willingness to lend a hand. And we certainly won't forget your efforts. We doubt that you will forget, either...Special Thanks to Sounds Like an Earful Music Supply for the amazing music AND sound design.

Calling all ghouls! If you are a fan of all things grim and ghastly, tonight's reading is for YOU! This is the story of Carl Tanzler, "Count von Cosel," who fell so deeply in love with a young woman he saw in his visions, that he wouldn't let the fact that she was dead stand in the way of their romance. Obsession, tragedy, grave-robbing, secrecy, necromancy, and discovery—tonight's reading has it all. Join us! Greetings, Dear Guests! We have for you this fine evening the opportunity to get to know some...unusual ladies. Okay. Hags. We'd like you to meet and take into your mushy, human heart a variety of horrific hags! We believe you'll find these unique women are often just misunderstood and have been mislabeled by a close-minded society. We also believe you'll find them to be mysterious, unpredictable...and hungry. From Ancient Greece to modern times, hags have been in the very midsts of mankind, and we suggest you warm up to them! Welcome...Special Thanks to Sounds Like an Earful Music Supply for the amazing music AND sound design.
