This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!

Jails and penitentiaries are often magnets for paranormal energy—and the Old Idaho Penitentiary is no exception. Built in 1870, before Idaho even became a state, the prison operated for over a century, witnessing everything from brutal riots and daring escapes to chilling executions. Among the most infamous inmates was Raymond Snowden—nicknamed “Idaho’s Jack the Ripper”—who was executed for a gruesome murder and is believed by many to still haunt the prison grounds. Visitors and staff alike have reported unsettling experiences: disembodied voices, phantom touches, and an overwhelming sense of being watched. In this episode of The Grave Talks, Visitor Services Coordinator Jacey Brain joins us to share the dark history and persistent hauntings of this historic prison. What lingers behind these stone walls—and why won’t it let go?  This is Part Two of our conversation.
