The girls are so excited to interview these changemakers who have redefined the term activism for Gen Z and have also put their footstep forward to make the world a better place. They chat about Stereotypes, Cultural Appropriation, Indians in Hollywood, the White Savior Complex, and how to bring authentic stories to the table. While all collectively feel Indian representation has significantly improved over the years, Dia points out how various South Asian led stories still revolve around those stereotypes. Shriya states why in these stories, the common trope of forsaking one's traditions as a sign of empowerment is problematic. Vaishnavi delves deeper into subtle and more prominent forms of cultural appropriation, while Shruthika encourages everyone to step away from such stereotypical mindsets.
