Safeguarding Matters: Helping to eliminate sexual violence in conflict

Safeguarding is essential to protect vulnerable individuals within humanitarian and development sectors. This episode addresses how civil society organisations (CSOs) in Nigeria can improve their safeguarding case handling and investigations. We’ll hear insights from mentees and a mentor involved in RSH’s recent Investigation Mentorship Programme, offering practical advice for CSOs looking to strengthen their safeguarding practices. 

Safeguarding is a vital practice to ensure the protection and well-being of vulnerable individuals in various settings, including humanitarian and development contexts. This podcast aims to address the "Frequently Asked Questions on Safeguarding," tackling the critical concerns and queries that often arise within the RSH Nigeria stakeholder community. 

In this podcast, Andrea Watkins, RSH’s global technical director, speaks with representatives of CHS Alliance, a global alliance of humanitarian and development organisations committed to making aid work better for people.
