Sunday marks one week since Israel began daily “tactical pauses” of fighting in parts of Gaza to allow more aid into the territory. But humanitarian groups say supplies are only trickling in, with violence continuing to kill aid-seekers as the hunger crisis worsens. The Trump administration ended the de minimis exemption, which allowed packages valued under $800 to enter the U.S. with no import tax. Last year, there were nearly four million such packages a day. Ukraine said that more than 100,000 people were without power after Russia launched a massive attack on the country's energy infrastructure. Ukraine has also been targeting Russia's oil and gas facilities, spiking fuel costs and requiring the country to ration gas.
