
Before Israel ever faced the Red Sea, God made His presence and leadership unmistakable. In the wilderness, a pillar of cloud guided them by day and a pillar of fire by night—an unmissable reminder that they weren’t navigating life alone. The cloud didn’t give them a full map, just the next step. Sometimes it stayed for a day, sometimes for months, but Israel moved only when God moved. In our own lives, we often want the entire plan upfront, yet God calls us to follow His presence one step at a time. Letting God take the lead means trading the security of our own schedule for the security of His presence, even when it disrupts our plans
