Part Two

As Beth’s illness worsens, Jo must prepare for the worst, while in Paris, Amy discovers Laurie’s true reasons for leaving Concord. When tragedy reunites the March family, Amy and Laurie return from Europe with unexpected news, and the appearance of an old friend encourages Jo to make a bold decision about her future.

New chapters are beginning all around: Meg is getting married, Jo receives an exciting opportunity, Amy is off to Europe, and Laurie’s relationship with one of the March sisters is about to change forever. Back at home, Beth's recovery may not be as certain as the family had hoped.

Love is in the air for the March sisters, despite Jo's best efforts to stop it. But when illness threatens at home and on the battlefield, and the sisters are separated from Marmee, they must rely on their new friends to keep their family safe.

The March sisters prepare for their first Christmas without their father, but the arrival of a new friend lifts their spirits. Tensions are brewing between Jo and Amy, and an act of vengeance has dangerous consequences.
