This is, another biblical term. And if you think about what does the word sober-minded mean, well, normally you think of sober in terms of drunkenness and alcohol, right? If you get drunk on alcohol, you're not sober, and so you need to sober up. Kira listened to CA Governor Gavin Newsom’s new podcast so you don’t have to. Some people are worried about conservatives platforming a radical leftist with aims at the White House. Some others are worried about their progressive hero rubbing elbows with conservative influencers. Is the podcast any good? Is it a threat to Republicans or a threat to Gavin himself? 

In 2022, parent-candidate Madison Miner won a spot on the Orange Unified School District school board, defeating a 20 year incumbent. A year later, she and another conservative board member were recalled by a massive union campaign. The district then proceeded to approve a nearly 10% pay raise for teachers. Shady, but not illegal. Unless...In recent months, Miner and others have uncovered an adulterous affair between school board President Ana Page and the president of the teachers union (OUEA) Greg Goodlander. Goodlander has since stepped down from his position, but the situation leaves parents asking - how long has this been going on and was there any conflict of interest during the pay raise negotiations? BTW, this pay raise will effectively bankrupt the district, per their own superintendent. Public records requests have been sent out. Miner joins the show to ask (and answer) some important questions. Across America, union-controlled school boards depend on being invisible to enact shady policy and conduct intimidation campaigns against concerned parents. Even if this isn't your district, this story affects every district. If this is happening in one place, it's surely happening in others.
