SPECIAL: Interview with Carrie Dunn

Ahead of Thursday's Sweden vs. England Quarterfinal, we're giving you the 'Thursday' episode a bit early! This will be an incredible listen before or after the England match, as we sit down with Carrie Dunn - a sports writer - who has covered Women’s World Cups, Women’s Euros as well as domestic competitions over the last two decades, and is a regular voice on BBC radio as well as The Athletic's Women's Football Podcast. We had the pleasure of sitting down with her before the EUROS kicked off to talk about her new book 'Flying the Flag: The Footballing Heroines of the Home Nations Who Made History Abroad'. The book chronicles the pioneering women of British football who sacrificed careers, friends, and familiar surroundings to pursue their sporting dreams abroad. It's a wonderful book about the women whose names we should all know just as well as Lucy Bronze and Leah Williamson, who are true pioneers of the sport we love so much - women's football.
