Timor-Leste becomes ASEAN’s 11th member

Timor-Leste has officially become the 11th member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. It follows an official ceremony at the 47th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur.

The Chinese and U.S. delegations have reconvened for the second day of talks on economic and trade issues in Kuala Lumpur.

China is making preparations to launch a crew on the Shenzhou-21 spaceship. The China Manned Space Agency said it will carry out various pre-launch function checks and joint tests ahead of the mission.
