Can anyone really trust Mallory McMorrow? That is the question we set out to answer with our interview of McMorrow, but she backed out last week. Since we have no interview to give you, we instead take a critical look at the differences between what McMorrow says and what she's done with her political power. Topics include her votes in the Michigan state legislature to give tax breaks to datacenters versus her claiming she wants datacenters to pay their “fair share,” the $120,000 she accepted in corporate money in the past versus her swearing it off this election cycle, her wishy-washy statements on the Gaza genocide, her half measure healthcare plan, lackluster plans for ICE, and outwardly racist solutions to her lack of support with black voters.
