Good morning, good morning! Or evening, actually. The night is coming fast, and the evening colors are streaking across the sky. Electricity is in the air, and there is power in the music.

Good morning, good morning! This is a short improv I put together looking out the window at a single-digits winter's day bathed in sunlight. Enjoy the listen. Imagine your breath hanging before you in a cloud of crystalline shimmer.

Playing this song, I tried to let no pressure through, no deadlines, no to-do list... just empty, letting the music guide me. I don't do that enough - let the music tell me where to go. I am usually afraid of letting go, but I opened myself up a little today. Not a lot, but a little, and it was nice.

Good morning, good morning! As we near winter, we will say goodbye to rain for a while (at least some of us will!). This improvisation reminds me a touch of a gray rain. Hear the drops fall. See the sheets shift with the gusting winds. Breathe in and out with the rise and fall of the sound of the rain. Let it wash over you. Release and relax. Enjoy.
