In the deep, darkest corners of the web, highly organised, skilled cybercriminals and gangs coordinate cyberattacks and run ransomware operations and malicious software hijacks. These ruthless, financially motivated, destructive acts of deception bring companies, individuals, and nations to their knees. In Australia alone, an alarming $3.5 billion is lost to cybercriminals each year. While technology has entrenched itself into our digital lives, how do we combat deceit in the digital world and secure our online privacy?
