Have you seen the JD Vance memes that have been circulating the internet? In them, the meme creators have increased his body size to make him look fat and then laugh at the idea of him being fat. That’s the joke. So hilarious (/s). JD Vance who is a horrible human, is being critiqued because of his appearance. This is a common theme in left-leaning circles - if someone is awful, then a great way to humiliate them is to focus on what they look like. Does this mean that “anti-fat bias is the last socially acceptable form of discrimination,” or is something else going on?
