3 Year Vision

Luke 1v39-41 with Tyler Staton, Bethany Sumbela, Joy Schlichter and Eric Wood. As Bridgetown Church enters a new season, we explore what it means to grow deeper in spiritual formation, form families through shared life and story, and become a people of compassion who serve, seek justice, and build kinship. Together, we consider how to listen for God’s invitation and participate in the story he is writing among us. Bridgetown.church/teaching

Matthew 11v28-30 with Tyler Staton and Gavin Bennett What if the path to rest isn’t escaping your life, but learning how to fully inhabit it? In this teaching, we explore how a shared rule of life can anchor us in God’s love, form us through our ordinary lives, and free us to discover joy right where we are.   Bridgetown.church/teaching

John 15v9-14 with Tyler Staton What stories are shaping you, what habits are forming you, and who are the people shaping who you’re becoming? Following Jesus means allowing the stories we believe, the habits we form, and the relationships we keep to reshape us into people who look more like him. Bridgetown.church/teaching

John 5v1-9 with Tyler Staton Jesus asks the man at Bethesda, “Do you want to get well?” and then tells him to get up, pick up his mat, and walk. Wholeness is a gift of God’s grace, but it also calls for our participation - choosing to get up, take a step, and follow Jesus into a new way of life.   Bridgetown.church/teaching

Genesis 34 with Todd Liles What happens when we try to build the life we long for without listening to God’s voice? In a difficult story of violence, revenge, and brokenness, we are reminded that our attempts to create the garden on our own terms only leave us carrying heavier burdens. Jesus offers another way, inviting us to come to him and find rest   Bridgetown.church/teaching

Genesis 32v22-32 with Tyler Staton What does it mean to wrestle with God well? Jacob’s struggle reveals that bringing our deepest fears, desires, and resistance to God can lead us somewhere we could never reach through control alone: toward surrender, healing, and the courage to reconcile with what has been broken.   Bridgetown.church/teaching

Genesis 31v17-32v1 with Nijay Gupta What happens when God’s promises seem to take a completely different path than the one we expected? Through Jacob’s long detour in Genesis, we are reminded that God is present even in the waiting, the disappointment, and the places where we cannot see what he is doing.   Bridgetown.church/teaching

Genesis 30v27-28 with Gavin Bennett What if the patterns that have shaped you for generations don’t have to define you forever? Even in the midst of our brokenness, God moves toward us with compassion, inviting us to stop grasping, renew our trust, and receive the healing and freedom he offers.   Bridgetown.church/teaching

Genesis 28v10-22 with Tyler Staton We can have powerful encounters with God and still wake up the next morning carrying the same fears, insecurities, and patterns that shaped us before. What happens when a dream becomes a vision, and an encounter with God is converted into a life lived in participation with him? Bridgetown.church/teaching

Genesis 27v6-10 with Tyler Staton So much of our striving begins with the fear that God's blessing is something we have to earn, protect, or take for ourselves. Through the story of a fractured family, we are invited to let go of scarcity, trust the abundance of God's kingdom, and discover that his grace has always been a gift to receive, not a prize to grasp. Even in the midst of our failures, God remains relentless in blessing and redeeming his people.   Bridgetown.church/teaching
