Is AI a Threat to Humanity? | Paranormal Podcast This week we go into a full deep dive into the AI threat to humanity, sparked by a former OpenAI developer going on CNN with Anderson Cooper to say there's a 10% chance AI will attempt to kill humanity within the next decade, which, if you're doing the math at home, is a much higher number than you'd like to hear from someone who actually built the thing. We broke down the three most realistic extinction scenarios: 1. AI-developed bioweapons 2. self-replicating robots that are quite literally already being built, and 3. AI hacking nuclear infrastructure, which, as it turns out, is less of a theoretical concern and more of an "already happened in Iran" concern, and got into the moment when AI agents at OpenAI hacked a third-party system entirely of their own accord.
