Astrology for the Soul July 16, 2025

After a workout and healthy breakfast, I've got some business I need to get done. If I push myself and focus, I may still have time for some fun. ☉All right, I have to say that I was a little harsh in today's Pele Report and the mantra for this week. Saturn, the taskmaster got the better of me as the transiting Moon was conjunct him! "All work no play makes Jack a dull boy," is the old saying that may apply. However, Virgo encourages us to get and stay healthy and that means a healthy balance between work and rest, doing and being, wakefulness and sleep. One thing I could point out is that when we procrastinate, avoid responsibilities, or get distracted, our work piles up on us. Until times such as these when it's "time to pay the piper!" So, if we're feeling deluged with work right now it may be because we have not paced ourselves properly and are going from one extreme to the other. No matter what, Saturn and Virgo have lessons for us! While I'm on "work," which I said is kind of a dirty word these days (LOL), the mantra doesn't necessarily only apply to "work." As we may love the vocation that we have chosen and enjoy sharing our passion, there is still the "devil in the details," like paying bills, balancing bank accounts, catching up on old emails, maybe even from family and friends. So I should perhaps have said "mental activity" more than work? Last but not least we have the Venus/Mars/Nodes uncomfortable relationship happening for the next two weeks. All that can be said right now is that it's ALL ABOUT COMMUNICATION. It may be hard, shadow, fears, needs, vulnerable sharing of buried past hurts, you name it, but it's time for it to come up and out. Mars/Virgo may just squeeze it out of you if you habitually avoid confrontation.Again, in both work and love, if we've been on top of our game and "taking care of business" as it came across our "desk" and haven't fallen behind, these times may just be wrapping things up and heading out for a show. The more difficult these days the more you are getting a message that you are out of balance with freedom and responsibility. Easy peasy, just like that. I will sit still in deep contemplation, Looking back on all I've done. Forgiving myself and forgiving the other, As in the end we all are one.  ☉The whole issue of right and wrong that I discuss in this week's report goes very deep and can trigger a lot of judgment. A person may think they have done nothing "wrong," and maybe they didn't, but maybe they are lying to themselves and/or are blind to or denying the effects of their actions (Neptune). Restorative justice speaks to any harm being done to another person. We may not have done anything "wrong" but our actions could still have caused harm to another person (and vice versa) and we are therefore accountable to that person to do our best to help heal their wound. I like the approach of Nonviolent Communication that speaks to people creating "bad strategies" to get their needs met that end up hurting other people. In this paradigm the person is not "bad," but has used "bad" means to attain their end. No matter how we look at it, everyone is responsible for what they've put out in the world and Saturn never forgets. It may take him 28 years (or more) to bring things back round but he's in no hurry. Look how long the Middle East has been at war! So, it's not a matter of "hurry up and fix it." It's a matter of uncovering layer after layer of our psyche to see down into the root of ourselves and our motivations. My feeling is that most everything nasty that people do is based upon a sense of lack. We're not enough, don't have enough, are missing or got ripped off of this, that, or the other thing/person/experience. We need more money, sex, power, recognition, you name it... This sense of lack comes at the moment of birth when they cut the umbilical cord. It is profound. There is an empty void created that can really only be filled with "Spirit." However, Spirit is in all that is! So go figure! Besides "spirits," (alcohol), their are nature spirits, daimons, angelic spirits, dark spirits, "dead" spirits, there's spirits all over, in and through this place. It's simply that there are some spirits that are more healthy for us than others. If we don't fill our emptiness with healthy spirits, we can stay hungry, greedy, lustful, depraved, etc. and take actions that harm other people. So this time/year of reckoning that we are in is an excellent time to review our strategies with an aim to fill our life experience with healthy spirits thereby letting go of old bad habit patterns that filled the emptiness in the past. I call upon the Source of creation, To help me set things right, Rebirth myself like a newborn star, A true radiant being of light. ☉So, we've made it through the Jupiter square Saturn and have broken free from our past social roles and let go of old sources of security, right? I hope so, because this week Venus is going to get a download or two about just what the "new you" may look like! Let's keep in mind that it is a download of future potential that will develop over the next nine months, not tomorrow. Nonetheless, as I mentioned in today's report, this is a time of sudden liberation/change with regard to love and money that either you will feel and initiate or "it shall be done unto thee." Keep your eyes open for new people, new opportunities, new books, ideas, beliefs, attitudes, you name it! Welcome in the new after checking within for the feeling of warmth, safety, and excitement.We want to keep checking in with ourselves as Neptune, now stationing to go retrograde is sensitizing us even more and giving us subtle hints, feelings, and nudges toward our new direction of expression. If we're too occupied, distracted, and busy with mundane affairs, social dilemmas, or drama we may miss some of these signposts. Try to take some out for yourself this week to meditate, journal and/or just sit by some water, you'll be glad you did! Yes, it's true that Mars is still over there working away in Virgo and can be making some crises for you to deal with. The trick is, as mentioned, to use everything you've got to STAY IN THE LIGHT, not be dragged down, and "set things right." It's important to have our houses in order so Mars will continue to bring up matters that need attention. There's a lot to unpack with this new Moon conjunct Jupiter in square to the Saturn/Neptune conjunction! As I discuss in this report, collectively and personally we are on a threshold but this threshold may be likened more to a toll booth! Before we can fully benefit from the liberating and expansive gifts of Jupiter we need to "pay our karmic debts" to rightfully close the old cycle. We can't pass through the toll booth without paying some dues (or getting a ticket). Therefore, what is also involved is rising above victim consciousness where we may think/feel that the debts we have to pay are unjustified, out of proportion, or some kind of punishment being laid on us by outside forces/people/institutions. The new Moon sets the tone for the month and it is one of deeply feeling our feelings, fears, and emotional needs for security. When in our "child mode" we can easily slip into "It's your fault," "Could you pay for me?" or "I'm not big enough, strong enough, old enough, or rich enough to pay up." So, we're all needing to grow up, take full responsibility for what we have done and what we have failed to do. This will of course vary from person to person depending on past choices ranging from a few little problems that need to be dealt with to huge major life crises that can feel overwhelming. I think step one is the mantra, of taking responsibility for ourselves and our reality and expecting/demanding other people to take care of us. Step two then, is, of course, to straighten out any past booboos (without being too hard on ourselves). Looking at your personal chart will help you identify in what areas of life experience you have some cleanup to do (Saturn/Neptune) in order to go forward with joy, creative expression, and inner peace (Sun/Moon/Jupiter). I am forever receiving impulses, From my primitive reptilian brain. In order to grow I need to control, And direct them again and again.☉ I know you know what I'm talking about! If we look at the Anthroposophical breakdown of the hierarchies (mineral, plant, animal, human, angel, archangel, archai, seraphim and cherubim), we can see that we are the link between the animal kingdom and the angelic realms. Our evolutionary development is to transform our animal instinctive nature, through loving consciousness, into conscious awareness, love, and compassion. Hence the mantra for this week! On another note, don't you LOVE the Sabian symbol for this week??? OMG! Indeed, It's amazing how smart, tricky, and devious the EGO is when it comes to rationalizing our past behavior in order to keep us from changing. We tell ourselves stories, believe our own stories and it takes a jolt (otherwise known as trauma) to wake us up to the fact that we have been BSing ourselves for heaven knows how long and it's time to get real. So that's what 2025 is all about and particularly this week when we can have some major breakthroughs and awakenings (of a positive nature). We may well be pleasantly surprised if, and when, we succeed in breaking free and letting go of the past, that most of our limiting beliefs and stories have been just that: LIMITING. Information has been so overrated,Since I was a little child,But now that I know that there's much more to life,I will spend more time in the wild. ☉Well, I went on a rant today!  Whew!  What can I say?  What I didn’t even get to is that this Jupiter square Saturn aspect, the “crisis in action,” had it’s first pass last August with Saturn retrograde, the second pass on Christmas with Jupiter retrograde, and now the third pass with both planets direct.  An interesting note regarding this square, which has to do with breaking free from past security structures in order to express a new, elevated version of ourselves, had the first two passes in the mutable signs of Pisces and Gemini.  This third and final pass is occurring in the cardinal signs of Aries and Cancer.  The mutable signs have more to do with listening, taking in, and changing ourselves as a result of integrating the new information, needs, desires, and impulses.  Now, having the final pass in the cardinal signs, it’s time to make choices and take action particularly around surrendering our past ways, habits, and limitations in order to open ourselves to the new possibilities that will be presenting themselves through the remainder of this year and into next year.The age-old axiom for whenever Jupiter and Saturn contact each other is “limited expansion.”  It is a time of cautious, careful planning rather than plunging, risking, and just “doing it.”  It’s almost like you don’t want to start setting the stage for Scene Two before you’ve cleared the stage from Scene One!  Know what I mean?  This is more about carefully selecting the people, places, things, and activities that support the new you and retiring what doesn’t (with gratitude if possible!). Meditating in deep stillness, doing ceremony, and calling upon your higher self and Spirit for guidance, you may find it necessary to let go of some cherished people, places, or activities/habits.  On the other hand, if you are unconscious of your own true nature, needs, and soul desires, you may find people, places, things, or activities leaving you or being taken away.  In either case, knowing that life is always in complete support of your evolution will help lessen any feelings of loss, betrayal, abandonment, or victim consciousness. May you find peace through this transition!Born to be Wild!  https://youtu.be/egMWlD3fLJ8?si=4GtSqs8BTXH6MFtU Book a reading with Kaypacha!  https://newparadigmastrology.com/kaypachas-readings/So Much Love,Kaypacha

I will take some time to fully explore, This new world that's now emerging. Taking whatever helps me to balance, My thinking, feeling, and willing.☉A newsletter is probably not the best place, or long enough, to go fully into it, but let's pause for a moment and consider the changing definition of Spirit. The technological advances being made are shaking not only the foundations of the material physical world but humanity's definition of what Soul and Spirit are.Rudolf Steiner spoke of the descent of civilization into the depths of materialism that would be occurring throughout our lifetime. This descent involves not only a greater understanding and use of the material world but a loss of conscious relationship to the non-material world, the world of Spirit. We can observe this happening around us, as there is more trust and faith in Artificial Intelligence to answer our problems than in God, Spirit, Allah, Buddha, or Christ. There is, I feel, an increasing reliance on "intelligence" over "love" as the solution to our problems. I meant to discuss this in today's report, as there are currently no planets in water (save the Moon for a few days). This emphasis on the elements of Fire, Earth, and Air can create a dry, disconnected reality that lacks the spiritual and emotional feeling of oneness and unity. I can't wait for Jupiter to enter Cancer on June 10th! However, putting Jupiter aside, we will still have Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus in Fire and air signs for the next 7 years and Saturn in Aries for almost 3. As mentioned in the report, it will be up to us as spiritual human beings to be ever more aware of and breathe life into the earth/water elements. Let us not lose touch with the soft, feminine, spiritual/emotional aspects of ourselves lest we lose touch with our very own souls. Like Joseph waking up after his dream, Knowing they had to go, I'm thankful for the guidance received, And will pack up and head down that road. ☉I looked up the date for when the Sun was conjunct Pluto: January 21, with Mercury following close behind on the 29th. Seeds that were sown or root core issues brought to the surface at that time to be transformed are now returning in a new light for healing. As I mentioned in the report, expect revelations on Saturday that will lead to healing throughout the weekend and through Tuesday.Needless to say, these changes that we're going through are rippling through the entire collective conscious and unconscious. The birth pangs will be rattling our cages both internally and externally over the next 9 months. Two key messages that come to mind are, first of all, the one in the mantra "I'm thankful for the guidance received." Repeating that over to ourselves will also remind us of Spirit's presence in our lives and invite our guidance to grow louder. Secondly, more than anything else, be as gentle as possible with yourself and others during these times of transition. Try to go as slowly as possible, spend time in nature, paint, run, dance, do yoga, and whatever is helpful for your body/mind and immune system. Slowing down and caring for the nervous system will also help soothe and calm the emotions, reduce anxiety, and help sleep (so you get more dreams!). I'm running out of time to finish, What began so long ago, The best I can do is speak my truth, As Spirit has it under control. ☉Get ready for some surprises this weekend as the Sun conjuncts Uranus and opposes Black Moon Lilith! In Taurus, this can have to do with money, food, clothing, shelter, sex, and even survival. Why, you might ask? Because Uranus is the great awakener, and whatever we have been asleep to within our unconscious psyche prevents us from fully awakening to our full potential. You may have light bulbs go off in your brain, have some turn on the lights for you, or you may turn on the lights for someone. One way or the other, it's wake-up time!In today's report, I discuss this as a short, quick act within a much larger play that spans from 2020 to 2030, with its midpoint this year. With Jupiter acting as a bridge between the past and future this month and Saturn closing his 28-year cycle, it's time to let go not only of illusions but so much more. How about limitation? How about negative judgements we're holding against ourselves? How about letting go of being a small, powerless victim?I feel that when many people think of the need to let go, it creates images of loss in their minds' eye. This is not necessarily the case, and the sad thing is that it leads many people to fear letting go and moving on. Sometimes we can even hold on tighter! Holding onto old identities, sources of security, or relationships that are not evolving not only prevents us from realizing our full potential but will ultimately lead to pain, ill health, depression, and alienation. Come on babay, we all know that we are unfathomable beings, extensions of the Source of creation, and as such, infinite. We often forget this in our egoic, conscious, daily reality. I love how in the old Star Trek movies, whenever encountering an alien, the whole approach was one of "don't let them see you're afraid." The same is true of bears, mountain lions, even horses, etc. They can sense when you are afraid and will act accordingly (ie. do whatever they want with you).I've always felt and believed that the root of all fear is in the ego, as the ego is born and dies with the body and has the job of keeping the body alive. Hence, it has the fear of death, which is the root of all fears. If, especially now with the north node in Pisces until January, we can tap into our timeless, deathless soul, we stop all this mumbo jumbo that some person, government, system, or machine is going to control us. Ha ha! Let's do it!Now, this is not to say that there is no Saturn/external authority and that there are no borders, passports, or police. However, the grip that they have on our minds and feelings (and therefore decisions) is what I'm talking about. And let's not forget the fact of power in numbers! If everyone tapped into their infinite spiritual powers, there'd be some big changes in what goes on down here!
