What Do You Want for the Last 3 Months of the Year?

There's just under three months left of 2025. Yes, you could just write off the rest of the year, or... you could take a moment to consider how you'd like to feel at the end of the year. Whether you had specific goals for the year or not, this episode will help you to finish the year strong... or soft... or in whatever way aligns with what matters to you. 


From the episode (some prompts for your reflection and journalling)

If you had explicit goals for the year...

  1. Review your goals. Adjust, defer or delete them, keeping only what still feels right for you at this time.
  2. Imagine you're at the end of the year and you've achieved your goal/s. What does that look and feel like?
  3. What are the steps between where you are now and where you want to be by the end of the year?
  4. What's the first step you will take this week?


If you had no specific goals...

  1. Imagine yourself at the end of the year. How do you want to feel? Is there something you want to have done? Imagining this to be true, consider the following...
  2. What did it take to arrive at the end of the year feeling this way?
  3. What did you overcome?
  4. What did you say no to in order to reach this point?
  5. What's the first step you will take this week toward this end of year reality?


If goals are the LAST thing you need right now, and you're just trying to survive the end of the year. You don't need to set goals as such. But it could be worthwhile reflecting on what ending the year 'well' would look like for you. 

  1. Imagine yourself at the end of the year. How do you want to feel? Energised? Relaxed? Grateful? With this in mind, ask yourself the following...
  2. What would it take for you to reach the end of the year feeling the way you want to?
  3. What might be standing in the way of you feeling like this at the end of the year?
  4. Will you create the conditions in your life to close the year out in this way?
