Rigan Machado is widely regarded as one of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu’s living legends — an 8 degree red belt— (I didn’t even know they had red belts) a highly ranked master, dominant competitor in his era, prolific teacher, and influential figure in spreading BJJ both in sport and popular culture, started training at age five in his cousin’s garage in Brazil- who were the infamous Gracies. His professional tournament fight career is an astonishing 365 wins and 0 losses.
