Like most of our guests on TWWork, Cara went around the houses to land where she is, and to carve out the truly unique career that she has... For a job/role like Caroline's, where you need to be hyper-focussed and hyper-organised, it's likely that to do such an job, and to be very good at it (as Caroline is), you're probably on some kind of ADHD spectrum. And that is said with love, because for people with that kind of brain, 'Operations' and logistics could well be a GREAT career for you... One where your channelled brain acts like a true super-power as opposed to a hindrance.Either way, what Caroline emphasises with all of her varied (and sometimes bonkers mad) jobs, is her willingness to get stuck in, stay positive and do the best job she could do. Whether that's working behind a bar, scrubbing pots, or organisation multi-million-pound event expos around the world. There is no doubt that Henry received a very 'privileged' education and he attended some of the best private schools in the UK. However, he soaked up every part of it. He embraced as much of it as he could, and he made as many connections as he could. He recognised mentors that were in front of him and he extracted as much as he could from each of them.Henry didn't take any of his education for granted and his beliefs and his approach to privilege and education are as progressive as they are pragmatic. Heather has been working in and on events for over 25-years, and has coordinated hardcore activity for the likes of MEGA rock bands and the Olympic games... Yep, she's hardcore bad-ass.There's not a lot Heather hasn't seen, done and worked on in the events field, which is why although still a 'hired gun' consultant for big, global events, Heather now creates her own events, and she uses her vast experience and her contacts to bring her event ideas to fruition... Periods, female cycles and female hormone shifts are HUGE subjects that affects girls and women of all ages, and yet it is something that STILL barely gets any airtime. Women (and girls) are still required to just put up, shut up, and suffer in silence.Rose firmly believes in food as medicine, and particularly, food as a super-power to support women throughout their monthly cycle, and indeed throughout their aging cycle. Not only does Natasha work at an all-female garage, as a mechanic, but she also owns and runs her own car-parts business, and is a specialist at knowing and sourcing car nuts and bolts... Which are notoriously hard to source - correctly at least. In the chat Natasha talks about how countless mechanics and garages buy and attempt to fit certain bolts, only to realise they don't fit and won't work, and then have to order some more, all while your car sits there waiting to be fixed.Natasha's story is awesome. She's a drop-dead gorgeous, feminine woman, living and woking in a very, VERY man's world, and she's bossing it. Rachel was always really creative and she always loved the creativity surrounding make-up in particular; the transformations that can come from doing make-up well, and the joy the (before and) 'after' can bring to someone, particularly women. ... And particularly Chops, who used Rachel for her TWWork relaunch shoot back in October, and who couldn't believe (in a good way!) what Rachel did to her face?!But as Rachel says in the chat, she doesn't change anyone's face, she simply enhances it and highlights what's already there. Which is empowering in such a unique way and can be transformational for female confidence.Because imagine what women could do if more of them had the confidence of their male counterparts... Generational perceptions and prejudices surrounding money; generational expectations and societal norms passed down; and perhaps most importantly, how these thinks fundamentally shape us, our view of the world, and our career paths...
