He soon found riding ranch bronk's fulfilled the adrenaline he was missing from his motocross days. He soon found a mentor and started working with leather. Moving from ranch to ranch provided the solitary he was looking for.  Drinking became more than just a few beers with the boys after the rodeo and soon he found out that it was impossible to make it through the day without it. Dakota bravely shares what the dark days were like in such raw and real detail. He found a passion for braiding rawhide and is recognized by his peers for the quality and craftsmanship of his work.
