
Julie de Libran is a renowned French fashion designer, celebrated for her refined and elegant approach to womenswear. Her career began at prestigious houses such as Gianfranco Ferré and Gianni Versace, before spending a decade at Prada, where she oversaw women’s ready-to-wear, made-to-measure, celebrity dressing, and lingerie collections, rising to design director and working closely with Miuccia Prada.
She then moved to Louis Vuitton, serving for six years as creative director for women’s ready-to-wear and head of the design studio under Marc Jacobs. In 2014, de Libran became creative director of Sonia Rykiel, successfully blending modern sophistication with the brand’s playful spirit. In 2019, she launched her own responsible couture label, Julie de Libran Paris, focusing on craftsmanship, sustainability, and exclusivity. Known for rich textures, intricate tailoring, and timeless femininity, de Libran has earned a reputation for creating luxurious, wearable fashion for the modern woman.
