“Surrendering does not mean you're giving up”“What we resist persists” Kirsty is a trauma informed breathwork facilitator and Holistic Mind Body Coach. She suffered from chronic anxiety and depression throughout her life, and after the breakdown of her marriage became very unwell and was ultimately diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome and subsequently adrenal fatigue. Her healing journey began when she refused to take her GP’s prognosis of unlikely recovery. She realised the only path being offered of a lifetime of medication and physical limitations was not something she was prepared to accept. Kirsty sought out inspiration from others who had healed themselves and so began her exploration of holistic, mind, body, soul healing modalities. She discovered the power of breathwork during a period of deep grief and the results of beginning a daily breath practice helped minimise symptoms, restore her energy levels and process and release stored trauma from her body that had accumulated over her life.
