2025 Predictions Revisited

Season 7 Episode 4 and welcome to MLB 2026!  Spring Training is over, the old hands are refreshed and raring to go, the prospects have been given their shot and the rosters are set for today! Join host Rich (Seattle Mariners), Yorkshire Dave (fan of his nearest team Boston Red Sox), Dave Junior (Chicago White Sox) and Highlander Alan (Detroit Tigers) full of optimism for the year ahead. Who and what should you look out for the in the season ahead which will, we predict, see one of these seasons go way into October. Episode 1 of Season 7! Only Yorkshire Dave was around for the 1st season of the American league now 125 years old! We're into the final few games of the regular season and three of our four teams are competing for the play off spots. Although Detroit Tiger Alan isn't so sure about the competing aspect as the early season form of the roaring Tigers is turning into a wimper. Richard's Mariners are sailing up fast towards the Tigers and if they can secure the Division could push a Division winning Tigers into a Wild Card game. And as always Yorkshire Dave's Red Sox are hanging around in the last few weeks and looking to make a push. With some big games against the Tigers to close the season. White Sox Dave might not have a personal interest in this year's Play Offs but provides great and impartial insights as to what is and might happen. Dave Jnr injures himself on the way to the gym, Rico is out keeping society functioning it's the old guard of Yorkshire Dave and Highland Alan joining Hamish on the podcast this week. And his injury was nothing to do with the Chicago White Sox losing streak but he will be fit enough to return to Guaranteed Rate Field later this month to help the Sox!
