With a lifelong passion for movement of all types and decades of experience as a clinical massage therapist (retired), yoga teacher and therapist (C-IAYT), Leila is a pioneer in the field of embodied movement education. She artfully synthesizes experiential anatomy, somatic repatterning and embodiment of deep yogic teachings as pathways to whole person healing. Leila is the author of Pathways to a Centered Body with Donna Farhi and Experiential Anatomy, Therapeutic Applications of Embodied Movement and Awareness. Leila lives near Vancouver, BC and teaches in Canada and internationally.
