And the San Francisco 49ers are once again in the news for the wrong reasons, but this time it is after their owner, Jed York, got himself arrested in Ohio during a prostitution sting. But Frank and Eddie discuss how Argentina's poor behavior might impact Messi's legacy, and whether or not FIFA will be brave enough to hand out meaningful sanctions. Spain controlled the game against France, but how did England manage to blow it from a comfortable position against Argentina? Eddie is convinced that, although it won't happen, it is time for Thomas Tuchel to go.  Plus, our predictions for the World Cup Final between Spain and Argentina, Frank is making headway with 'From', and Eddie has some more complaints about parents on planes.

The last 16 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup has wrapped up, as the tournament is once again shrouded in controversy. Argentina pulled off a late comeback against Egypt, but Frank and Eddie look into the theory that Messi and co are benefiting from some favorable refereeing decisions. Spain found a late winner against Portugal, but has Ronaldo truly ended his international career, and did his parting comments leave a sour taste in the mouth? Frank and Eddie look ahead to the quarterfinals, as France take on Morocco, England play Norway, Belgium play Spain, and Argentina face Switzerland.  Plus, Eddie has started watching 'For all Mankind' and he's not sure that it's actually good. 

England are through to the 2026 FIFA World Cup Quarterfinals after overcoming Mexico at the Azteca. Eddie and Frank look back at one of England's greatest ever World Cup performances, including standout efforts from Pickford, Gordon, and Bellingham. But where did things go wrong for Mexico, even after they may have benefited from some of the officiating?  Elsewhere, Argentina survive a scare against Cape Verde, Portugal somehow scraped by Croatia, Paraguay tried their best to rough up France, and Haaland and Norway proved too much for Brazil. But will this World Cup be overshadowed by controversy after FIFA and Infantino further embarrassed themselves by postponing Balogun's suspension ahead of the USA's match against Brazil?
