Doug Garnett is a former rocket scientist turned marketer. After working on rockets, missiles, and the Space Shuttle in the 80s and with a math degree in his pocket (finite element analysis) he moved into marketing, sales, and innovation for new products.

He's sold supercomputers, and pretty much all types of consumer products, owned his own ad agency, and directed national television commercials.

His agency, Atomic Direct, Direct, introduced new products for 20 years including handling Lowe’s Kobalt Tools introductions from 2010 to 2018.

He now focuses on Complexity Science in Business and teaches as an Adjunct Educator at Portland State University’s School of Business Administration.
