Filmmaker Trevor Banks (Give the Drummer Some) joins us to discuss the career and legacy of legendary drummer Clyde Stubblefield. Most famous as a member of James Brown's band throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Stubblefield's drumming led to some of the most innovative and widely-sampled drum breaks in music history. Stubblefield's influence is undeniable and Banks is advocating for Stubblefield to earn his rightful place in the Rock & Roll of Fame.
