Episode 282: Record Store Day 2024.

The PTID guys finally caught up with Rock Guy Eddie Spaghetti. They discussed the band's rise and fall over the years, and how they ultimately found success as a boutique rock and roll band. They got into rubbing elbows with greatness in the form of Willie Nelson, Ramones and Motorhead. Overall, it's a really fun listen, with music by, of course, Supersuckers.

Once again the PTID guys plumb the depths of the later catalogs of a couple of legendary punk bands. By 1980 both Stiff Little Fingers and The Dickies had released a pair of untouchable LPs, but what about after that? Tom and Neil discuss the good, the bad and the ugly, with the songs from, of course, Stiff Little Fingers and The Dickies.

They discuss starting the distro that became a label and eventually a retail store. We also discuss his madcap Facebook Live shows Wednesdays and Fridays! The PTID guys are back home after meeting up in the Windy City to see the Bouncing Souls. They talk about the shows, the people watching, record swapping and the sorry condition of Chicago.
