Weekly Anime/Manga Review: Dan Da Dan, Shangri-La Frontier S2, Dragon Ball Daima and One Piece

We return to the world of Roshar in the newest installment of the Stormlight Archive: Wind and Truth. We are only 30ish hours into the book so far so we recap what we have read thus and talk about our first impressions of the highly anticipated book. Support the show

WEEEEEEEE ARE BACK, after a series of unfortunate events which cauased us to take a multi week break we have returned to bring you that oh so good anime content. We kick the week off with our favorite in the current run Dan da Dan (2:00). Followed up by the returning contender Shangra-la Frontier (10:35) and we back track a little on this one to catch up. Concluding our anime review portion this week (because re:zero has yet to have another episode) we jump back into Dragonball Daima (21:50). We are tackling another week of anime!!! We are down a few more again this week as One Piece is still on a break and we aren't going to watch the fishman island reanimation. We kick it off with the glorious Dan da Dan and its reminder for men to check themselves regularly. Next up we have the optimistic  Re:Zero, followed by the VR gamers dream Shangri-la Frontier. We are back this week with another Anime Review AND the end of our Halloween Bracket. If you are looking for the Halloween portion you can go ahead and skip the first 50 min or so. But if you are looking for the anime review we have a great slate for you. One piece is out this week do to the world series but we still have the amazing Dan Da Dan to kick us off followed by the terrifying Re:zero. The Penguin continues and continues to deliver quality content every single episode, and man does it make us long for more good content. With over half the season good and gone we are getting into the endgame here with some high stakes train tickets. Support the show

It time for another anime review and this week we are showcasing some bangers. We kick it off with the fantastic Dan Da Dan as it will most likely hold the top spot for the rest of the season. Then its followed up by the returning Shangri-la Frontier. Re: Zero and the archbishops of sin deliver another heart stopping set of episodes but then cooled off by the Dragonball Daima. We are doing a little catch up this week as we review the Penguin episodes 3 and 4. Both are phenomenal lessons in character development and good story telling as this show continually demonstrates that if you build it we will watch it!!Support the show
