On this episode of Neon Galactic, I sit down with experiencer and researcher Julian Thorne to talk about his efforts to chart the archetypal influences at play in the stars and planets, and how those primal forces seem to shape the initiatory experiences of individual men and women. Through his own transformative alien abduction, Thorne was alerted to the mysterious nature of the human soul and our experience here on this planet. This initiation led him to more than a decade’s worth of research into the work of Carl Jung, Richard Tarnas, Joseph Campbell, and many others, shaping his worldview and endowing him with insight as to our current predicament as a species. Using that research, and an affinity for artificial intelligence, Thorne built a bot that he has deployed in a deepening suite of inquiries, the AstroMythic Map. After inputting the natal charts of some of the 20th Century’s prominent contact experiencers, Thorne unveiled a broad pattern of commonality, a kind of resonance that occurred amid planetary influences, repeat astral offenders that dictate the type and depth of given experiences a person has, or even whether they can have them at all.Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Charon and Saturn play recurring roles, either to make a given soul available for initiation, or to lock them in a kind of ontological prison, where such experiences are not available. We talk about his epiphany, his book, “Take Me To Your Belief System,” and how all these realizations are helping him to understand our current moment as a species, and where it’s all likely heading in the near future. We are in the midst of an initiatory wave, one of many that have occurred over the centuries, and if we refuse the call, we can expect a rising set of consequences whose ultimate aim is to push us toward realization. We also talk about the use of artificial intelligence for this kind of work, and his efforts to ensure that hallucination or confabulation did not taint his results. On this episode of Neon Galactic, we interview author Kristina Amelong about her new book, “What My Brother Knew,” a memoir covering the death of her young brother and his precognitive vision of that event.The book, scheduled for public release in May, reveals how Jay Amelong, then a 13-year-old in Madison, WI, somehow caught a glimpse of his own death and warned his family repeatedly in advance.He was hit by a car and killed by a driver that seemed to suffer a strange loss of consciousness just as he was turning a corner. Kristina Amelong, a teenager at the time, was devastated by the tragedy, and spent the next several decades struggling with her feelings, and working through that pain, as well as other traumas she suffered as a child. As the book relates, unprocessed grief and buried memories come to the surface as Amelong ultimately faces her addictions and builds a happy life and family of her own.By interviewing relatives and friends of Jay, she discovers that the short life of little brother had an outsized and positive impact on many who knew him. He’s published several books in that subject area that examine how causation may work both forward and backward in time and how that reality may manifest in lives human lives.This new book expands the argument to point out that rather than being impossible, as we‘be long been told, time travel is an achievable goal for our species, one that may be much closer than we think.We discuss what technologies may enable such travel, both for physical human beings and for information.Wargo here describes the several deep cognitive errors humans have made around time-travel and the possibilities of such travelers undermining space-time. On this episode of Neon Galactic, I’m joined by author and psychonaut Adam Butler, to talk about his life, his experience with DMT, his book, and how turning inward has helped him reinvent his life. Butler is the author of “Butler’s DMT Field Guide,” a volume that describes his experiences on the drug, how it has helped him, and offers various common recipes for acquiring it. We talk about how DMT and other hallucinogens can have therapeutic and transformative power for percipients, if done right. Butler outlines how his life had collapsed due to alcoholism and other personality defects. Through the use of psychedelics and a deep journey inward, he has learned how to live a more centered, passionate, and empathetic life. We also discuss how the lessons learned with psychedelics mirror many of the same ideas and principles offered up by ancient non-dual spiritual traditions. The issues both he and I faced as part of our journeys into addiction and recovery reflect a broader sickness of society at large. Only by understanding our own shadow personality traits, and taking responsibility for their improvement and eradication, can people learn to live improved lives. Butler also describes how a journey to the Monroe Center helped him compare the Gateway Process used there with his own spiritual journey through the use of DMT. He has published over 350 research articles and is the holder of 50 US patents, and has been honored as one of the top 25 inventors at Stanford University. He has in recent years been one of the foremost scientists willing to engage in the research and study of unidentified anomalous phenomena.We discuss the Sol Foundation, its goals for the future, and how it’s proceeding on three different tracks to help encourage the study of UAPs.
