Minneapolis City Council considering funding for homeless shelter, ShotSpotter

Two big issues before the Minneapolis City Council are getting votes Thursday. One is funding for a downtown homeless shelter and another is extending a contract for a gunshot detection system system called ShotSpotter. And more than two dozen people were taken to hospitals Wednesday after a hay ride accident at a western Wisconsin apple orchard.
