In this glorious conversation, I talk with two alums of The 2024 Magician’s Table - Leah Roberts and Rachel Elliott - on the theme of TMT as a seed-keeping space, rather than a seed-growing space. The conversation was rooted in a discussion with Leah last summer that I hadn’t been able to quit thinking about. In this solo episode, I share how I work with an archetype called The Failed Magician. I posit that we all have a Failed Magician at all times - unrelated to constructs like “failure." It’s a part of us that guards against engaging with and sharing our magic. It’s a part of us to keep an eye on and to cultivate a relationship with, so they don’t act out unconsciously and unchecked in the world.
