While from the outside, Bretonnia appears to be an incredibly gorgeous and pure realm of goodness and chivalrous, the truth is far more complex. Like any nation of Men, the people of fair Bretonnia suffer from the wanton cruelty of the merciless rich that treat their fellow man worse than filthy beasts. Knights and Lords that swore sacred vows to protect the innocent instead brutalize and take without a second thought. Yet rumors swirl about a mysterious bandit that traverses the forests and valleys of Bretonnia, a cloaked man that robs the rich and gives to the poor. Bertrand the Brigand and his Merry Men, the Herrimaults, stealthily venture the deep woods and take the fight to Greenskins, Beastmen, and most importantly those knights who have turned their backs on goodness.
