RAYS POSTCAST: The Tampa Bay Rays FALL SHORT vs the Chicago Cubs

The Tampa Bay Rays can't get past the Chicago Cubs, losing 6-4. It started great for the Rays. Christopher Morel hit a 3 run homer in the 1st inning to give the Rays a 3-0 lead. But the Cubs would jump on starter Shane Baz in a hurry. By the 3rd inning the Rays trailed 5-3 and Baz was only able to go 2.1 IP giving up 5 runs. The Rays were able to get it to 5-4 after a Nick Fortes RBI single. But that was as close as the Rays would get. The Cubs would add a run in the bottom of the 4th and that would be the last score of the game. The Tampa Bay Rays lose the final game of the series to the White Sox 5-1. The Rays could not get the big hit today. The Tampa Bay Rays offense can't get anything going as they lose to the Cleveland Guardians 2-1. The Rays would score their only run in the 5th inning. Carson Williams would hit a solo home run to give the Rays a 1-0 lead. This would be the only run the Rays would come up with. The Rays once again could not come up with a hit with RISP. The Guardians scored their runs on a 2 out 2 RBI single in the 6th inning. Drew Rasmussen started for the Rays and was solid once again. He would go 5 IP not allowing any runs and 2 strikeouts.
