Each week I speak to a new guest with a very interesting job. I am Laura Leoncini and today my guest is Lorraine Mcdowell, Data Scientist in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Lorraine studied biochemistry and genetics in the 80s, when biotechnology was not yet a developed branch. As she says, she stumbled upon the job of Data Scientist. Listen to her story.

Maxime Frechet started out with a bachelor in biology and pathophysiology; when he was at the lab, he soon realised all he was looking forward to is to go to the gym and train. He took on studies to qualify and he became personal trainer. His job allowed him to see the world and to fulfil his passion. Today he lives in Geneva and works at Harmony Fitness.

Inka Kendzia is an award winning director, motion designer, mixes visuals live (vj) and creates immersive projection art for musicians and artists. Amanda Schurtz, born in Switzerland and splitting her time between Dublin and Geneva, has just received her black belt in Newaza , Brazilian jiu-jitsu. She is also a member of the Swiss Olympic team. Unlike other disciplines, she has to fund her own sports career, which means, she has a full time job plus a full time training. Let’s hear her story.
