In Freedom Week we caught up with Adam Reeves from the London Tourism Cooperative on how the industry led campaign is helping to get London's tourism economy back on its feet, trends on the horizon and why having hope is important now, more than ever. The London Tourism Cooperative (LTC) was formed in 2020 by Jonathan Mountford and his colleagues at MADE marketing agency, in response to the global pandemic and the devastating impact it’s had on London’s tourism industry. Hot on the heels of today's Budget and the recent roadmap out of lockdown 3.0, we brought together Joss Croft [CEO, UKinbound] and Chris Earlie [Head of Tower Bridge] to get their reaction and discuss what these recent announcements mean for the UK's tourism sector. It was also clear that whilst quarantine restrictions for visitors to the UK remain in place, the inbound tourism market will simply not exist, and UKinbound will continue to press for changes and alternatives.
