Doris Lemngole for the University of Alabama went back-to-back in the NCAA D1 Cross Country Championships, with North Carolina State the winning team. Australian Amy Bunnage placed 30th. Habtom Samuel for the University of New Mexico finally broke through to win the 10k cross country race to take out the title, while the winning team was Oklahoma State University.
