With the trade deadline just a day away, I wanted to discuss the two IDP trades that just recently took place. The Titans traded away star safety Kevin Byard to the Eagles for 4th & 5th round picks and safety Terrell Edmunds. Then today the New York Giants traded DE Leonard Williams to the Seahawks in return for a 2nd & 5th round picks. Justin Simmons was also inactive this week with a hip injury. The Carolina Panthers lost LB Shaq Thompson for the season with a broken fibula & could lose SAF Xavier Woods for 4-6 weeks. Frankie Luvu also exited this week’s game early with a hip injury. The Arizona Cardinals placed SAF Budda Baker on the IR (hamstring). He won’t be eligible to return until week seven.
