IAG Thursday Thing EP.46: KEEPING COOL! Let's talk about heat Exchangers (Radiators, oil cooler, and intercoolers)

This season was...rough to say the least. We talk about the last event at Pitt Race. Dylan and I break down our highs and lows of the season. Then we talk about where we go from here. We chat about the new IAG coilovers and answer some questions from the audience too!

We recorded this a couple weeks ago in Jerami Baileys trailer in anticipation of Dewey being out for a Tail of the Dragon trip and its a fun one. We chat with Jerami Bailey about old times and trying to be competitive in Club TR with a Subaru powered car. There is a TON of good info in here for anyone looking to swap an FA24 into a 1st Gen BRZ too! Then we chat with Adam Wood, the driver of a GC in GLTC. All the torque, none of the HP, and a pile of tire! This might be one of my favorite cars I've ever driven on track. Unfortunately after recording this his weekend was ended early. Most of you know Dom Acia from the Cyl 4 Chamber Cooling mod but he's been around a LOT longer than that. We talk about him getting into Subarus, his start in tuning, him being one of the god fathers of the destroker concept in Subarus, where the cooling mod came from and the data behind it, and some cool new stuff he's working on! So many people don't know Dom but after this you will have a better idea of how this mans brain works.

We FINALLY got Mary from AWD Tuning on the podcast! We talk about all sorts of stuff from Pikes Peak, drag racing, community, and future plans for the Legacy!

We haven't done a good "Dewey spews a ton of info on one topic" in a while. With Warranty out, what better time than now to do it. This week Dewey covers all the basics of heat exchangers and how they work as it pertains to a Subaru (though the same principle works for all cars) . Lot's of great info in here. If you ever wondered about why radiators are different, where you need to put an oil cooler, or you are trying to just keep your temps down and not sure where to start, this is a good one!
